Kid Rock lists his Balinese-style estate in Malibu again with a couple of changes
Musician Kid Rock has put his gated Malibu estate back on the market. This time around, he’s trying a couple of different strategies.
First, the price has been reduced to $12.495 million from the $12.75 million he asked for earlier this year and the $13.45 million he asked for two years ago.
Second, he’s now listing with agent Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency. They say the third time’s a charm.
To review, Rock’s 1.5-acre Balinese-style compound was built in 2002 and includes a main house, a guesthouse and a swimming pool.
Hand-carved doors open to a black-and-white mosaic foyer and some 8,300 square feet of living space. A living room/screening room, a dining room, a kitchen with commercial-grade appliances, a family room, a gym, an office, five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a sauna are among the rooms.

Gardens and fountains adorn the grounds.
He bought the property in 2006 for $11.6 million, public records show.
Rock, 44, gained fame for his 1998 album “Devil Without a Cause.” The multiple-instrument musician, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, released the album “First Kiss” this year.
The rap-rocker owns houses in several states, including Michigan, where he was recently dismissed from a murder trial jury pool, reported the Detroit Free Press.
