Actor Rob Benedict looks to stage a sale in Hollywood Hills
After 11 years in the Hollywood Hills, Rob Benedict is ready for a change of scenery. The “Supernatural” actor has listed his 1970s home for $3.495 million, or around $1.4 million more than he paid for the place in 2008.
Set on a quarter-acre lot, the property holds a hardwood-filled house, a three-story guest wing, a swimming pool and a hillside deck with sweeping city views. In total, there are four bedrooms and five bathrooms across 4,863 square feet.
Neutral shades of gray cover the living spaces, which include a formal dining room, a living room with a dual-sided fireplace and a family room with a wet bar. Farther in, the first-floor master suite offers direct access to the backyard through French doors.
Things get a bit more colorful in the guest wing, where a movie theater with stadium seating and a recording studio (Benedict has performed with the indie rock band Louden Swain since 1997) are decked out in a velvet hue. Up above, there’s a loft with a balcony.
Outside, the entertainer’s backyard holds a stone patio, a swimming pool and a spa.
Linda Ferrari of Keller Williams Silicon Beach holds the listing.
A Missouri native, Benedict has regularly appeared in TV and film since the mid-1990s. The 48-year-old’s credits include “Felicity,” “Head Case,” “Kings of Con” and the 2005 comedy “Waiting…”
