Former industrial buildings converted to offices in El Segundo
Real estate development and investment firm NSB Associates Inc. has completed a $20 million redevelopment of two buildings in El Segundo that were formerly used by document management giant Xerox Corp. for research and development.
“El Segundo continues to be transformed into a highly desirable location for creative, technology and new media companies,” said Larry Field, chief executive of NSB Associates.
NSB has turned the former Xerox buildings on Utah Avenue into offices for firms in creative fields. The two structures have a combined total of 200,000 square feet Each has 17-foot ceilings, skylights and glass panels to let in natural light.
They are part of the Utah Avenue Campus, which includes six buildings on 12 acres, according to real estate brokerage JLL. The firm is leasing the property for NSB, broker Blake Searles of JLL said.
