St. Mary’s helps with food boxes
St. Mary’s Episcopal Church will serve as host to distribute food boxes from the Treasure Box, which provides families and individuals with a 21- to 25-pound box of frozen grocery store quality food that normally retails between $65 and $100 for $30 each.
The boxes will be distributed the last Saturday of each month at the church, 428 Park Ave. Orders can be placed online or at the church office. The deadline for placing the first order is Thursday for delivery June 26. For more information, call (949) 494-3542 or visit www.stmaryslb.org.
Whole Gospel Expo Sunday
Representatives from 16 local, national and international humanitarian groups will host informational booths at the Whole Gospel Expo from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Laguna Presbyterian Church, 415 Forest Ave.
Organizations will offer opportunities to support or volunteer for ongoing projects, including World Vision’s child sponsorship and micro loan programs.
Tour new church sanctuary
A free half-hour tour of Laguna Presbyterian Church’s renovated sanctuary will begin at 11:15 a.m. Sunday.
The $12-million renovation will safeguard the 1927 building from earthquakes, flooding and leaking, and restored the interior to its Mission Style. To join the tour, meet at 11:15 a.m. in the Narthex of the church sanctuary, just inside the front red door. For more, call (949) 494-7555.
