Once upon a time, the censors kept their fingers near the button whenever the winners came to the stage. But for this year’s awards, the swear bleeps were everywhere: The presenter patter, the sketches, even the category names had to be censored.
The unfunny conceit behind Mark Wahlberg, top, and Will Ferrells suspended-on-wires appearance during the Best Villain award presentation was that Ferrell thought it would be a good idea for them, but it wasnt.
