“Will & Debra” has come to an end: Debra Messing and Will Chase have split up.
The “Will & Grace” alum’s breakup news was confirmed to the Los Angeles Times on Monday.
“Debra Messing and Will Chase have ended their two and a half year relationship, but remain close friends,” her rep’s office said in a statement.
Messing, 46, and Chase, 44, were first linked in late 2011 when they were costarring in NBC’s now-canceled musical drama “Smash,” according to Us Weekly, which first reported the split.
Though she’s no longer starring in Chase’s life, the TV actress has a new NBC series to headline: “The Mysteries of Laura.”
Chase, a Tony Award nominee, has played Luke Wheeler on ABC’s country-music drama “Nashville” since 2013.
Messing was previously married to writer-producer Daniel Zelman, with whom she shares a son, Roman Walker Zelman, 10. She and Zelman were married from 2001 to 2011.
Chase was married to actress Stephanie Gibson from 2009 to 2012.
