Jim Toth was arrested on suspicion of DUI after reportedly driving in the wrong lane and then blowing a 0.139 on a breath test. In the process, his wife, Reese Witherspoon, declared herself to be famous, a tidbit shared with a cop who couldn’t have given a flying fig and arrested her for disorderly conduct.
The police report said Witherspoon got out of the car and “stated that she was a ‘U.S. citizen’ and that she was allowed to ‘stand on American ground.’” The actress, 37, then asked the police officer, “Do you know my name?” When he said he did not, she replied by telling him, “You’re about to find out who I am.... You are going to be on national news,” according to the report.
And they all totally were. Witherspoon slinked out of interviews and some public appearances associated with her latest film, “Mud,” which opened Friday. (Handout / AFP / Getty Images)

Justin Timberlake had Ellen DeGegeneres’ in-studio audience gushing over his love for wife Jessica Biel, whom he married in Italy in October 2012. He said his favorite thing about marriage is deciding to marry his best friend.
“Every once in a while I can catch a glimpse of her when she doesn’t see me looking and I have this moment when I’m like, ‘If you never make a good decision, if you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life, you made one really good decision,’” he said. “It’s nice to marry your friend; it’s nice to marry your best friend. It suits me.” (Timothy A. Clary / AFP / Getty Images)
Kim Kardashian, right, and her whole family gave Ryan Seacrest a no-holds-barred interview that aired Sunday in which she revealed major struggles with her pregnancy and divorce.
Kim’s sister Khloe, left, who was also officially cut from “X Factor” this week, said Kim’s “back hurts, her breasts hurt, her stomach hurts, her feet hurt, her head hurts, her eyes hurt, her nails hurt. She cries all the time too.”
Despite her divorce woes with ex-husband Kris Humphries, Kim said she thinks she’d get married again.
“I do think I would get married again. That’s what I’ve always wanted -- just because you think you find it and you realize that’s not it. I was brave enough to realize that quickly and not waste time. I found what I really wanted. I do want that,” she said.

Gwyneth Paltrow has been named the world’s most beautiful woman for 2013, according to People magazine’s annual list of, well, beautiful famous ladies.
“When I first heard that I was going to be on the cover of People’s most beautiful issue, I honestly thought someone was playing a joke on me and I had to reread the email three times,” the 40-year-old said in a behind-the-scenes video about the photo shoot. “I was like, ‘This can’t be true.’”
The “Iron Man 3” star also attended the premiere of the summer film in Los Angeles and turned heads in a very sheer dress that she told Ellen DeGeneres was kind of a “disaster.”

Lauryn Hill’s sentence in her tax-evasion case has been postponed to May 6 because the singer had not yet paid restitution on the money she owes. She now has a two-week reprieve to gather the funds.
“This is not someone who stands before the court penniless,” said the judge. “This is a criminal matter. Actions speak louder than words, and there has been no effort here to pay these taxes.”
Hill had to take out a loan on her house to pay her bills. Later in the week, the Grammy-winning singer confirmed on her Tumblr blog that she had reached a record deal with Sony to release new music.
She said the new deal is one “that better reflects my true contribution as an artist and (purportedly) gives me the control necessary to create a paradigm suitable for my needs.” Hill said, “I have been working toward this for a long time, not just because of my current legal situation, but because I am an artist, I love to create and I need the proper platform to do so.” (Mel Evans / Associated Press)
As if Justin Bieber’s European escapades haven’t been entertaining enough already, let’s add ... a drug raid in Sweden!
A strong smell of marijuana got authorities’ attention Wednesday night when the bus was outside the Biebs’ hotel before the Stockholm show, a police spokesman told the Associated Press. (The cops had been working crowd control to manage the screaming hordes that assembled outside the hotel.)
The cops found a small amount of drugs and a stun gun, which requires a permit. Though the police were mum on the type of drug, the local newspaper identified it as weed. Nobody was on the bus at the time, so no arrests were made.
