The couple married in September 2009 after a whirlwind one-month courtship. Kardashian cited “irreconcilable differences” in the filing and asked that the “Odom” be removed from her legal name, seeking no spousal support and requesting that he seek none from her.
Also in 2013, Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner and stepdad Bruce Jenner announced that they had separated, and sister Kim Kardashian finalized her year-and-a-half divorce from basketball player Kris Humphries.

“Their primary focus and concern is for their son,” the reps said on their behalf, additionally asking, as most celebs do, for privacy.

After saying nice things about her soon-to-be-ex on Twitter, she filed for divorce in October, seeking full custody of Morgan, their 16-year-old daughter.

After keeping the news close to the vest for about a year, Kris and Bruce Jenner finally announced in October that yes, they have separated after 22 years of marriage. So for anyone wondering why they’ve been living in different houses, there’s the answer.
The two say they have no plans to divorce — they’re just great friends who are happier living apart. There was one “ouch” moment, however: Kris told a magazine that if she had one regret it was divorcing Robert Kardashian.

The pair met while making the movie “The Last Song” in 2010 and got engaged in May 2012, but their relationship was reportedly on the rocks for most of 2013 amid rumors of infidelity and Cyrus being spotted without her engagement ring.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer was enjoying quite a bit of time in the spotlight after her controversial performance at the MTV VMAs in August; however, soon after the split was announced rumors surfaced that the “The Hunger Games” star was already seeing another woman and Cyrus was getting cozy with one of her record producers.
“I’m just letting that chapter kind of close and just looking forward to that new one,” Cyrus told Ellen DeGeneres in October, following the split.. “I want to be really clear and determined with everything I’m doing in my life right now, and I have been .... I keep saying I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and that’s not even a dig.”

Rachel Uchitel’s 2011 Las Vegas wedding may have been under the radar, but word of her impending divorce made some headlines.
The woman who first gained fame as Tiger Woods’ mistress “is ending her marriage of less than two years to insurance executive and former Penn State fullback Matt Hahn,” a rep for the “Celebrity Rehab” alum said. “It is Ms. Uchitel’s goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media.”
Hahn reportedly filed for divorce, citing “cruel and inhuman treatment” and asking for custody of their 1-year-old daughter, Wyatt, plus child support and spousal support.

The actress, 23, who plays a sharp-witted New York City teen transplanted to the suburbs on the ABC comedy series, filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. She indicated that she did not want to pay spousal support, according to court papers.
The “Shameless” alum hasn’t really spoken publicly about their marriage but the documents say that they wed on March 3, 2011, and separated on October 31, 2011 -- which means their separation lasted more than twice as long as the seven months they were together in their under-the-radar marriage.

Country singer Jason Aldean and his wife, Jessica Ussery, high school sweethearts who married in August 2001, had their separation confirmed by his rep on April 26.
Turns out that was actually the day the 36-year-old singer filed for divorce, it was revealed three days later.
Aldean had strayed in October 2012 when he was caught on camera acting “inappropriately at a bar” with Brittany Kerr, an “American Idol” contestant-turned-NBA cheerleader. The couple has two daughters, ages 5 and 10.

Seth MacFarlane and Emilia Clarke reportedly ended their relationship in March.
Distance was to blame for the split between the Oscar host, 39, and the “Game of Thrones” actress, 25. The pair stepped out around the time of the Emmy Awards in September 2012, and were photographed together frequently afterward.
We couldn’t help but wonder if the dragon mother was peeved that he didn’t include her in his Oscar musical flop “We Saw Your Boobs,” since she’s frequently been topless on her HBO series. But, you know, being neglected in that way is probably something most women would actually prefer, and technically, HBO still ain’t the movies.

Katy Perry and John Mayer have flipped their on-off switch to off once again.
Though multiple sources fueled reports in mid-March, those voices seemed to be saying the breakup might not be as final as all that.
It appears to be work that drove the split, with Mayer readying for a tour after struggling with vocal problems for the better part of two years and the former Mrs. Russell Brand working on her third studio album. The two had been dating for about seven months since a brief break in August 2012. They’d dated casually for a bit before that. But in June, the couple was very much back on and even recorded a duet, “Who You Love,” together.

Michelle Williams and Jason Segel have broken up, calling it quits early in February. Distance seemed to be the culprit.
She of “Oz the Great and Powerful” lives in Brooklyn with her 7-year-old daughter Matilda, whom Williams had with the late Heath Ledger. Segel, who is one of the stars of the CBS series “How I Met Your Mother,” primarily resides in Los Angeles, where the comedy films.
The couple began dating in March 2012 and kept a relatively low profile throughout their relationship. They are said to have been introduced by Williams’ good friend and “Dawson’s Creek” costar Busy Philipps, who was also on “Freaks and Geeks” with Segel.

Josh Brolin and Diane Lane have split up after more than eight years of marriage.
The actors called it quits in February, with Lane filing papers on the 15th. “Diane Lane and Josh Brolin have decided to end their marriage,” their reps first told Us Weekly.
The “Gangster Squad” star and “Cinema Verite” actress married in 2004. This is the second divorce for each of them.
“It was a mutual decision. It is very amicable. It’s not ugly, it’s just over,” a source said.

Ashley Judd and IndyCar driver Dario Franchitti called it quits at the end of January after more than 11 years of marriage.
The decision was mutual, the couple said in a statement to People. “We’ll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed,” they said.

British model and actress Liberty Ross on Jan. 25 filed for divorce from Rupert Sanders, the “Snow White and the Huntsman” director who infamously cheated on her last summer with actress Kristen Stewart.
She was asking for joint custody of their 5- and 7-year-old children, spousal support and attorney’s fees, according to court documents. Sanders, who filed his response the same day she filed her petition, also was seeking joint custody but wanted to share the legal fees.
What Stewart called a “momentary indiscretion” with Sanders — pictures of which appeared more than momentarily all over the Internet — happened back in July 2012.
Both parties publicly apologized at the time, with Sanders, now 42, saying in a statement to People, “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”

Britney Spears announced on Jan. 11 that she and Jason Trawick were breaking off their engagement after only one year.
“I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends,” Spears said in a statement released to People. Brit’s rep told the mag the decision was mutual.
Added Trawick, her onetime agent who’d popped the question back in December 2011: “I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.”
Spears has two sons, 7-year-old Preston and 6-year-old Jayden, from her marriage to Kevin Federline.

Ah, the fickle heart of Taylor Swift: The singer and One Direction boy-bander Harry Styles are a couple no more.
The relationship — which had been public for only a month or so, though the pair were spotted flirting backstage at “The X Factor” in mid-November — came to an end just after the new year with Swift, 23, flying home alone only three days into their vacation in the British Virgin Islands. The two reportedly met in March at the Kids’ Choice Awards.
“They were on holiday and had an almighty row,” a source told the Daily Mail, confirming they’d split up. “They are two young stars at the top of their game so who knows what will happen in the future.”

Is it another sign of the JoPocalypse? The Jonas Brothers have deleted the band’s group Twitter account, @jonasbrothers, although all three siblings’ individual accounts remain active.
Coming on the heels of the JoBros’ last-minute decision to cancel their 19-date fall tour, which was to start last Friday, the Twitter ditching is being interpreted by some as another sign that the group might be breaking up.
“They are not getting along at all. It’s uglier than you think,” a music industry source told People on Thursday about Kevin, 25, Joe, 24, and Nick, 21. That after their spokesman last week told Us Weekly, “There is a deep rift within the band. There was a big disagreement over their music direction.”
That said, Joe Jonas, around whom rumors of alleged drug use have swirled, has been spotted recently by TMZ in the company of a noted sober coach.
The trio previously took a break from 2009 to 2012, reuniting late last year for some shows and promising a new, fifth album to be called “V.” The tour was to have previewed songs from the forthcoming record, according to Pop & Hiss. Their last full-length album release was in 2009, though Nick and Joe have released solo efforts. Kevin and wife Danielle have been working on their E! reality show, “Married to Jonas.”
