Stana Katic of ‘Castle’ weds in Croatia

Stana Katic played the role of bride over the weekend: The “Castle” star tied the knot in Croatia.
Katic, whose alter-ego on the ABC drama also got married this season, said “I do” with longtime boyfriend Kris Brkljac, a business efficiency consultant, according to her rep, Nancy Seltzer.
The nuptials took place “in a private family monastery on the Dalmatian coast,” Seltzer said. Other details on Katic’s big day were sparse, but she did release a snapshot of the couple’s simple wedding bands.
The Canadian actress, who has Croatian and Serbian roots, has been dating Brkljac for several years and turned 37 on Sunday.
She’s played detective Kate Beckett on ABC’s “Castle” for the past seven seasons, and this season appears to be the procedural’s finale.
Katic is slated to next appear in writer-director Evan Oppenheimer’s romance “The Tourist.”
