Terrence Howard, Mira Pak got divorced shortly after birth of son Qirin
Turns out Terrence Howard has one more ex-wife than we thought. The “Empire” actor, who’s been duking it out with ex-wife No. 2 over spousal support payments, quietly got divorced from third wife Mira Pak toward the end of July.
Pak filed for divorce in March and got what she wanted on July 27, according to court documents obtained Monday by the New York Daily News. She was pregnant with son Qirin when she filed, and the papers address child-support considerations.
The paper said an attorney representing Michelle Ghent against Howard had referred to Pak in court Monday as the actor’s “ex-wife.” The “Hustle & Flow” actor, 46, had been on the stand Thursday, Friday and Monday to testify — sometimes tearfully — about why he thinks his 2012 divorce settlement with Ghent should be overturned.
The deal entitles Ghent to spousal support as well as a portion of his proceeds from “Empire,” according to the Associated Press. Howard has alleged that Ghent threatened to release embarrassing recordings and other personal information if he didn’t give her money.
Final arguments were made Monday, the AP said. The judge said he would need a week to make his decision.
For her part, Ghent filed a domestic-violence suit against Howard on July 28, a day before the statute of limitations ran out on an incident alleged to have happened while they were in Costa Rica in 2013, TMZ reported.
