‘We Had One Job’: Celebrities view Trump victory with disbelief and dismay — and as a call to arms

The results are in, and so is the vast range of social media reactions to Tuesday night’s election. Some took to Twitter to celebrate and congratulate Donald Trump on his victory, while Hillary Clinton’s supporters expressed shock and dismay.

Among the more openly heartbroken celebrities was Miley Cyrus, who has been a vocal supporter of Clinton. Cyrus’ post included a plea for people to “just treat people with love and treat people with compassion and treat people with respect.”
