Zsa Zsa Gabor rushed to hospital; condition unclear
Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to Ronald Reagan-UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday morning, two weeks after her right leg above the knee was amputated.
The condition of the Hungarian-born actress, 93, was not clear. Her publicist and her husband told various news organizations that she fell ill this morning.
Gabor has been in and out of the hospital for complications from hip surgery performed after she fell at her Beverly Hills home. Doctors had been treating an infection with heavy-duty antibiotics.
The amputation was necessary because of poor circulation and a large ulcerated area on the leg.
A spokesman for Gabor’s husband told CNN that she was taken to the hospital by ambulance in the last hour.
