Wayne White The Los Angeles-based artist and performer, who is best known for his work as one of the original designers of the TV show “Pee-wee’s Playhouse,” presents his one-man stage show, “You’re Supposed to Act All Impressed.” The autobiographical work incorporates music, puppetry, comedy and multimedia drawing on White’s 30-year career. Context: Clayton Campbell Since 1996, Clayton has served as co-executive director and now artistic director at the 18th Street Arts Center in Los Angeles, an internationally known center for contemporary artists.
