Adam Levine is full of opinions — now for ‘Honey Boo Boo’
Guardian of taste and artist treatment Adam Levine is piping up again, officially becoming the last of the panelists from “The Voice” to jump the shark.
After iconic Los Angeles music venue the Roxy drew Levine’s invective for not giving the singer a dressing room many moons ago (the nerve), Levine has set his sights on America’s reigning reality-TV obsession, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”
“Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the DECAY of Western civilization. Just because so many people watch the show doesn’t mean it’s good,” Levine lectured GQ magazine about the TLC clan that orbits a precocious pageant tot.

“So many people witness atrocities and can’t take their eyes away from them, but that doesn’t mean they’re good.”
So you like it, Adam?
“That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That’s. Ever. Happened. It’s complete ... ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids.”
Glad you clarified. Levine’s mouthy diatribe perfectly compliments pantless diva Christina Aguilera, pridefully ignorant Blake Shelton and the animal-accompanied caricature that has become Cee-Lo Green.
Having a “Voice” is great, but silence is always golden.
