Matthew Fox arrested on suspicion of DUI in Oregon
Matthew Fox got a bit lost early Friday morning in Oregon, where the actor was reportedly headed for some fast food but wound up in jail.
Fox was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence around 3:30 a.m. near Bend, the town where he lives with his family, according to TMZ.
The outlet says Fox was traveling with an unidentified passenger seeking a late-night snack, but wound up in police custody. He was apparently released later on Friday, TMZ reported.
While a rep for Fox did not immediately return a Ministry request for comment, this isn’t the “Party of Five” star’s first run-in with the law. In August 2011, on location in Ohio, Fox reportedly was detained by police.
Fox reportedly tried to board a privately hired party bus, but after being denied access to the vehicle, Fox and the driver reportedly got in a scuffle. Charges were never pressed in the incident.
While the circumstances of Fox’s weekend arrest are still a mystery, stranger things have happened in the pursuit of a decent drive-through.
