New ‘Jack the Giant Slayer’ trailer reveals giant action
The new trailer for Bryan Singer’s new fantasy film, “Jack the Giant Slayer,” doesn’t play coy with the goods. The last trailer showed only bits of the giants -- an eyeball here, a pool of rippling water there (“Jurassic Park”-style). But the new trailer shows the behemoths in full rampaging glory.
There are two-headed giants, falling giants, giants with funny haircuts and even baking giants.
Singer’s film, which was originally titled “Jack the Giant Killer” and moved back to March 1, 2013, from its original opening date of June 2012, stars Nicholas Hoult as a farmboy who unwittingly reignites a centuries-old war between his people and the sky-dwelling giants.
The movie also stars Eleanor Tomlinson, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy and Ewan McGregor.
