Ruppert arrived in April, after his owner passed away. What a bewildering experience for this handsome 9-year-old, a Siamese mix with striking markings of mahogany brown and white.

Fortunately, Ruppert has coped amazingly well, getting along with other cats and even “mentoring” young kittens. How sweet to watch him licking them in a gentle, paternal manner! He likewise appreciates people who greet and pet him, enjoying the attention and purring contentedly. With so many kittens and younger cats currently in the shelter, those more mature are often overlooked. However, Ruppert remains optimistic about finding a new and loving home.
