Ooh, baby, baby: Granola Babies at SoCo Collection, Suite B, 3315 Hyland Ave., Costa Mesa, will host a homemade baby food workshop from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The cost is $15. Juicy news: SOL Cocina,251 E. Coast Hwy., Newport Beach,and solita at Bella Terra, 7631 Edinger Ave., Suite 1508, Huntington Beach,will partner with Nekter Juice Bar to showcase cold-pressed cocktail mixers for the first two weeks of August. At solita, enjoy a cocktail made with Nekter’s Beach Berries mixer, which includes strawberries, blackberries, lemon, agave and basil. Special sauce: Take a cooking break this summer and enjoy a Saturday night barbecue at Pete’s Sunset Grille, in the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, 21500 Pacific Coast Hwy. Entrees include Southern California fried chicken, Carolina baby back ribs, whiskey barrel barbecue smoked brisket tips, and all beef hot dogs.
