Meet the Season 27 cast of CBS’ ‘Amazing Race’

CBS’ “The Amazing Race” has lined up yet another batch of diverse teams for its upcoming season.

The 10-time Emmy Award-winning show announced on Wednesday its 11 new teams for Season 27, which kicks off Sept. 25.

The reality TV show, which launched in 2003, follows groups of people racing around the world across time zones and through multiple countries. This season, the teams will depart from Venice Beach and travel to their first destination: Rio de Janeiro.

Here’s a list of the teams competing in the televised global chase extravaganza:

-- Cousins Alex Manard, 22, of Champaign, Ill., and Adam Dingeman, 24, of Des Moines, Iowa

-- Married couple Cindy Chac, 36, and Rick Chac, 38, of San Diego

-- Mother and son Denise Williams, 52, and James Earl Corley, 26, of Prattville, Ala.

-- Dancing duo and brothers Ernest Phillips, 29, and Jin Lao, 26, of Boston.

-- BFFs Jazmine Lewis, 23, of Moreno Valley, and Danielle Littleton, 23, of Riverside. The California natives are also track stars.

-- Engaged couple Justin Scheman, 30, of Bronx, N.Y., and Diana Bishop, 30, of Sharon Hill, Pa.

-- Team TMZ co-workers Kelly Berning, 37, of Los Angeles, and Shevonne Sullivan, 31, of Taunton, Mass.

-- Reporting duo and couple Kelsey Gerckens, 25, of Ventura, Calif., and Joey Buttitta, 26, of Simi Valley

-- Best friends Tanner Kloven, 26, of Fort Worth and Josh Ahern, 28, of Dallas
