Linda Cardellini is coming to ‘New Girl’

Linda Cardellini will soon be joining the cast of Fox’s “New Girl” in a recurring role as Zooey Deschanel’s character’s sister.

Deschanel plays Jess, and Cardellini will play Abby, her sister, described by TV Guide as a troublemaker.

Cardellini, who most recently appeared on AMC’s drama “Mad Men,” will have a recurring role on “New Girl,” though no word on exactly how many episodes she is expected to appear in.

Her first appearance will air in February.
