For some of us, fashion starts at the feet. And for some of us, waiting until the new stock of shoes arrives is as torturous as walking in stilettos on gravel.

In the next few days, two leading shoe companies are previewing their new fall styles. When they arrive, they’re yours — and they’ll be in your size.

From Thursday through Saturday, the Sergio Rossi boutique will offer a first look at the fall collection in a trunk show. Shoes are available in European sizes 35 to 42. The collection includes flats, boots, metallics, exotic skins and evening shoes. They’ll arrive in stages from late summer to early fall.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the boutique, 366 N. Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills; (310) 271-0111.

From Monday through Wednesday, Stuart Weitzman will stage a trunk show and preview of the fall collection at the Beverly Hills boutique. In addition to calling dibs on your favorite styles, women can order a broad range of difficult-to-find sizes. The Weitzman shoe line includes sizes 6 to 12 AAAA, 5 to 12 AA, 4 to 12 B and 5 to 11 C. The shoe show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the boutique at 437 N. Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills; (310) 860-9600.

If that’s too rich for your pocketbook, the Pasadena Shoe Pavilion, 270 S. Lake Ave., (626) 564-2595, has a big pile of Birkenstock sandals in stock, with loads of narrow sizes, with most priced at $39.99.
