Adam Levine’s menswear line set for Sept. 15 launch [updated]
The inaugural menswear collection from Maroon Five frontman and “The Voice” judge Adam Levine is scheduled to hit retail next month.
The exclusive-to-Kmart Adam Levine* collection, which includes denim, outerwear, wovens and knits ($14.99 to $69.99) as well as a range of accessories ($9.99 to $16.99) is set to launch online on Sept. 15 (at shopyourway.com), followed by a rollout to bricks-and-mortar Kmart stores on Oct. 1.
We haven’t had a chance to see any more of the collection than what’s visible in a short “behind-the-scenes” video posted to YouTube (Warning: Even though it’s only 34 seconds long, Levine manages to drop an enthusiastic F-bomb - so click accordingly) but we’ll pass along additional details as soon they become available.
It’ll be interesting to see how the musician translates to menswear, though it’s definitely in his genes -- his father is Fred Levine of Studio City’s M. Fredric boutique.
