Ben & Jerry’s puts peanut butter cookie dough into a new ice cream

What could make a scoop of Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked ice cream even better? Peanut butter.
The Vermont-based ice cream company has released a new Peanut Butter Half Baked flavor for the holidays. It’s a combination of chocolate and peanut butter ice creams with pieces of peanut butter cookie dough and fudge brownies.
“Tis the season for togetherness,” Ben & Jerry’s “flavor guru” Peter Lind said in a statement. “So we thought why not be peanut buttery and chocolaty togetherness?”
We’re glad you asked that very important question, Mr. Lind.
The new flavor is available at stores nationwide, but only for a limited time.
The original Half Baked was released 15 years ago and includes chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate fudge brownie ice creams. It’s currently the company’s best-selling ice cream, taking the top spot from Cherry Garcia last year.
