The wait for Jonathan Gold’s new 101 best restaurants list is almost over. Who will be No. 1? Did your favorite restaurants make the cut? All your questions will be answered Wednesday.

Gold’s ultimate guide to eating in Los Angeles will publish Wednesday on latimes.com/101. There will also be an app, launching Wednesday, that will allow readers to see which 101 restaurants are near them, with an interactive map.
