New-wave Chinatown
A new generation of restaurants and bars has opened in Los Angeles’ historic Chinatown in the last several months, many of which are distinctly not Chinese. Chefs are drawn by the charm (and relatively low rents) of the picturesque neighborhood, and many are opening or relocating to some of Chinatown’s abandoned or otherwise unused restaurant spaces.
