Coming to the Taste: Alie Ward & Georgia Hardstark

Alie Ward and Georgia Hardstark are the retro-fabulous duo behind the Cooking Channel shows “Drinks With Alie & Georgia,” “Classy Ladies With Alie & Georgia” and “Unique Sweets.” The two catapulted to online fame when their instructional video on how to make a McNuggetini (milkshake meets vodka meets chicken McNuggets) went viral, and there’s been no stopping them since.

One of their latest projects is the podcast “Slumber Party With Alie & Georgia”: “Climb into our fort for an adult slumber party.... There’s wine spritzers, games, ghost stories and pajamas are mandatory.”

Hardstark and Ward will lead a cocktail demonstration at Dinner & Drinks, co-hosted by the Beer Chicks and L.A. Times Deputy Food Editor Betty Hallock, on Sunday, Sept. 2, at the Taste food festival.

The Taste, the Los Angeles Times’ annual food festival, will take place at Paramount Studios’ Melrose Avenue backlot on Labor Day weekend. Tickets cost $65 (21 & over only) and are available for purchase online.
