Pa Ord restaurant brings its crispy pork and boat noodles to Hollywood
If you’re driving down Sunset Boulevard near La Brea Avenue, you may recognize a familiar red sign written in Thai. Pa Ord, the beloved Thai boat noodle restaurant in Thai Town, has opened a second location.
The new Pa Ord opened mid-April on the northeast corner of Sunset and La Brea. The noodle joint took over the old Thai Foon space sandwiched between Ono Hawaiian BBQ and a NutriShop vitamin store.
The new location has a slightly different menu from the first, but not to worry, the crispy pork and boat noodles are still available. There are also new lunch specials.
The original Pa Ord is known as much for its crispy pork as it is for its demolition derby parking lot. No word on whether drivers will have an easier time at the new location’s lot, but at least you can still get the pork!
Pa Ord, 7075 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles (323) 464-2989. Open daily 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
