PHOTOS: 10 years later, airline crash victims recalled

Family and friends of passengers and crew who died in the crash of an Alaska Airlines jet off Ventura County gathered Sunday at a memorial sundial erected in the victims’ honor at Port Hueneme. Eighty-three passengers and five crew members died Jan. 31, 2000, when the jetliner from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, plunged into the Pacific Ocean. There were no survivors.
