End the Year on a High Note
Heading into 2013, Las Vegas’ iconic Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower is refining its “Elevate Your Experience” theme with new and enhanced entertainment, dining and night life offerings, plus an array of New Year’s Eve parties atop the property’s soaring Tower (the tallest building west of the Mississippi, offering 360-degree views of the celebratory fireworks throughout the Las Vegas Valley).
Now is an exciting time to see Frankie Moreno, as the young piano-playing singer celebrates his first year as Stratosphere headliner with a new self-titled album.
Moreno, who was named “Best All-Around Performer” by Las Vegas Review-Journal’s staff in the Best of Las Vegas 2012 awards and “Best Strip Headliner” by Las Vegas Weekly readers, was recently a featured performer on ABC’s mega-popular “Dancing with the Stars.”
Stratosphere is also launching a new up-tempo production show, “Pin Up,” in early 2013. Produced by Moreno and starring 2011 Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair, “Pin Up” is a 1940s calendar come to life through music and dance.
Top of the World restaurant will enjoy a refreshed look in the New Year to match its visionary cuisine. The sinfully spectacular Level 107 Lounge will also be remodeled next year, with revamped entertainment offerings and “reverse happy hour” in the late evening.
On the casino level, Stratosphere just opened McCall’s Heartland Grill, an original concept conveniently nestled at the north end of the property’s casino floor. McCall’s serves hearty Midwestern-style steaks, fresh coastal seafood and an array of creative comfort food within a sleek yet cozy “cowboy chic” atmosphere.
For New Year’s Eve, Stratosphere’s selection of Sky High Parties — featuring open bars, midnight champagne toasts, deejays and dancers — start at just $175 (visit www.stratospherenewyears.com for details).
If you’re seriously celebrating, enjoy the Top of the World Party, featuring a five-course meal prepared by Executive Chef Rick Giffen, a cash bar and access to the multiple NYE parties on Levels 103, 104 and 108 of the Stratosphere Tower. All this for $299 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity). Plus, book any New Year’s Eve party and get 15% off your Stratosphere room rate.
