Lukshon restaurant: An article in the Feb. 25 Calendar section about the restaurant Lukshon in Culver City identified chef Sang Yoon as the founder of the bar Father’s Office. The bar existed long before he took it over in 2002. Additionally, Yoon’s last name was given in one reference as Yang.
Bernard Nathanson: The obituary in the Feb. 23 LATExtra section of Dr. Bernard Nathanson, the former abortion supporter who narrated the controversial anti-abortion film “The Silent Scream,” said that he left his position at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York in 1978. He remained with the hospital for some years after that date.
Hostages killed: In the Feb. 24 Section A, the photo accompanying an article about the U.S. investigation into the killings of four Americans whose yacht had been hijacked by Somali pirates was credited to AFP/Getty Images. Although transmitted by the wire service, the photo was provided by the Del Rey Yacht Club and taken by club member Joan Godfrey.
College basketball: An article in the Feb. 23 Sports section, in talking about poll rankings and the week’s top college basketball matchups in the West, said that BYU had lost only to UCLA and St. Mary’s this season. BYU defeated St. Mary’s; its two losses have been to UCLA and New Mexico.
White House music: A QuickTakes item in the Feb. 25 Calendar section said that John Legend performed Stevie Wonder’s “Love’s in Need of Love” at the White House Thursday. The song’s title is “Love’s in Need of Love Today.”
