Van Cleef & Arpels: In the Nov. 10 Image section, an article about an exhibit of Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana omitted the museum’s Sunday operating hours. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
Fat-killing drug: In the Nov. 1 Business section, an article about Kythera Biopharmaceuticals Inc. said that the Calabasas company paid two doctors more than $5million, plus stock and future royalties, for rights to the fat-killing drug ATX-101. Kythera now says it agreed to pay up to $5 million to the doctors’ employer, Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Poland’s economy: In the Nov. 13 Section A, an article about Poland’s economy said that the country’s youth unemployment rate was higher than that of neighboring Slovenia. It should have said Slovakia.
Philippines storm: In the Nov. 14 Section A, an article about recovery efforts following Typhoon Haiyan gave the last name of European Commission humanitarian aid spokesman Mathias Eick as Rick.
