Cancer patient weds in hospital
Cancer patient Dennis Lyman, 68, married his longtime sweetheart, Barbara Monds, in the chapel at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange on Friday. The couple had planned to wed Monday, but Lyman’s prostate cancer has spread to the bone, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. The couple met 30 years ago at the Tall Dance in Fountain Valley. Dr. Sam Huang played violin during the ceremony.
