Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes near Kettleman City
A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Tuesday morning nine miles from Kettleman City, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 3:59 a.m. PDT at a depth of 5.6 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 11 miles from Avenal, 27 miles from Coalinga and 29 miles from Corcoran..
In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
