Crime alerts for Reseda and 14 other L.A. neighborhoods

Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 15 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.

Four neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Reseda (A) was the most unusual, recording seven reports compared with a weekly average of 3.5 over the last three months.

Harvard Heights (E) topped the list of 11 neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 14 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 5.9 over the last three months.

Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for May 15–May 21, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
