Boy, 15, lured into van, sexually assaulted in Los Feliz, police say
Police are looking for any additional victims of a man they say sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy in Los Feliz before committing a second attack the next day in Atwater Village.
Los Angeles police say John Everett Perry, 34, lured a 15-year-old into his van in Los Feliz last Tuesday after asking the boy if he was interested in modeling. The second victim, whose age was not immediately released by police, was lured into a bathroom in Atwater where he was sexually assaulted after Perry told him he was a fashion photographer, police said.
Perry is charged with committing a lewd act upon a child, oral copulation on a person under 16 years old, using a minor for sex acts and sexual battery. He’s scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 21, officials said.
Anyone with information about possible additional victims is asked to call LAPD detectives at (323) 344-5742.
