Thief reaches into McDonald’s drive-through to take $200
Police in Northern California were looking Monday for a man who reached through a McDonald’s drive-through window and took $200 in cash.
The McDonald’s in Petaluma was closed at 2 a.m. Monday and employees were cleaning another part of the restaurant when the theft occurred, KRON-TV reported.
Police say surveillance photos show the man forcing his way through the drive-through window at the McDonald’s at Gateway Shopping Center.
He was able to force a cash register open and get away with about $200.
Authorities hope someone recognizes the man from the surveillance photo.
