2 freight trains collide in San Bernardino County; no injuries reported
Two freight trains apparently collided head-on Tuesday afternoon near the 40 Freeway in San Bernardino County, fire officials say.
No injuries were reported in the accident near mile marker 47 by Ludlow, the San Bernardino County Fire Department said.
The cargo was produce, and there were no reports of hazardous materials, fire officials say. Some railroad ties were ablaze.
The crash was reported shortly before 3 p.m. No other details were immediately available.
