Christopher Roman first heard about Skyline 2014 via his trusty Twitter newsfeed.

The free art show, composed of 10 experimental and interactive art installations showcasing Los Angeles’ ever-changing landscape, was available for public viewing from Feb. 13-22.

With his Nikon D7100, Roman photographed the silhouette of a fellow University of Southern California classmate in front of “Liminoid Garden”, an exhibition by artist Filipa Valente at the Cooper Design Space.

“I think free cultural events such as Skyline are a major asset and a critical component of downtown’s continued revitalization,” Roman said.
