Man apparently commits suicide at The Grove, officials say
The body of a man believed to have committed suicide was found at The Grove shopping center Monday morning, Los Angeles police and fire officials said.
Details were not immediately available, but officials said the body of the approximately 50-year-old man was discovered shortly before 9 a.m., about an hour before the shopping center opened.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division responded and found no sign of foul play. Investigators determined the death was likely a suicide.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s department is handling the ongoing investigation.
A 29-year-old man died at the shopping center in July after officials said he jumped from the seventh floor of a parking structure.
