Beach house: An article in Sunday’s California section about the new Annenberg Community Beach House in Santa Monica said the Guest House and tiled pool at the property were national landmarks. They are Santa Monica landmarks.
“Peter Grimes” review: A review of the San Diego Opera production of Benjamin Britten’s “Peter Grimes” in Monday’s Calendar section said the composer spent World War II in the United States. Britten came to America in 1939 but returned to England in 1942, during the war.
