The Los Angeles Fire Department dispatch center with electronic maps of the city as well as television station broadcasts on the wall behind the dispatchers on December 07, 2012. In the event of a major occurrence, the dispatchers can watch TV helicopter coverage to help broaden their understanding of the situation.
