Letters: Cirque’s flawed ‘Iris’
Re “It’s curtains for Cirque du Soleil’s Hollywood show,” Dec. 1
It’s no surprise to me that Cirque du Soleil’s “Iris” will close in January. It is by far the worst and most disjointed of its many shows, a mishmash of acts that felt thrown together to fill two hours. When the highlight of your show is dropping confetti on the audience, you have a problem. And when you consider the very high ticket prices, it’s a miracle “Iris” lasted this long.
