Readers React: All hail President Trump

To the editor: Well played, Mr. Gary Jacobs! (“President Trump’s State of the Union,” Opinion, Sept. 21)

It was as if I were reading a transcript of President Trump’s actual State of the Union address.

It was a little scary at times, but not as scary as the thought of this guy ever becoming, well, anyone other than who he is actually already is … brrrr.

To the editor: The spoof State of the Union speech by “President” Trump gives us all more of what we don’t need.

It’s time for The Times to decide whether it wants to be a serious newspaper or just another People magazine (without the color pictures).

Stop giving this circus clown a megaphone and give us what we expect from an editorial section.
