Ameera Butt

Ameera Butt is a former News Desk multiplatform editor for the Los Angeles Times. Born in Saudi Arabia and raised in the Middle East for the first 10 years of her life, she moved to Texas and immediately started using the word “y’all.” Now, she’s an L.A. transplant and a fan of Texas BBQ, national parks, book clubs and traveling. She’s a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
