Last week, following L.A. Taco’s story on Burbank’s Corner Cottage, the Burbank Leader revisited the Victory Boulevard spot well-known for its long lines and tasty salsa.
The Leader’s article was posted on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and readers didn’t hold back on giving us their thoughts. Social-media users wrote in to weigh on Norms, Handy Market and Larry’s Chili Dog, among other local eateries.
Burbank is blessed with great breakfast burritos. It should be on our city seal.

In the spirit of service journalism, we mapped the places that readers gave a shout-out. Though the Leader initially reported on Corner Cottage, Burbankers let us know of many other spots in the city that have a good burrito.
The list — of 15 eateries in the Media City — includes Eat’n Park, World Empanadas and Moore’s Deli.
The 15 spots on the map are:
- Corner Cottage, located at 310 S Victory Blvd.
- Larry’s Chili Dog, located at 3122 W Burbank Blvd.
- World Empanadas, located at 1206 W Magnolia Blvd.
- El Tapatio, located at 926 S San Fernando Blvd.
