‘California Gold’ host Huell Howser to speak at Woodbury University

HILLSIDE DISTRICT -- Huell Howser, host of the PBS series “California

Gold,” will speak about his work and travels at Woodbury University next

week.

In Search of California Gold: A Presentation by Huell Howser, will

begin 7 p.m. Sunday at Woodbury University, 7500 Glenoaks Blvd. in

Burbank.

A cocktail and buffet reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., and coffee

and dessert will be served after the discussion.

Tickets are $50 per person for the entire evening or $25 for the

discussion, coffee and dessert. Tickets for students and children are

$10.

“California’s Gold with Huell Howser” is in its 11th season on PBS.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Woodbury University’s Library

Associates, a volunteer organization that works to improve library

services.
