Bullying deserves more attention
None of the school board candidates’ statements for Tuesday’s election mentioned bullying. Not once.
I went to school in Burbank. I’m in my 50s now. My brother and I both went through a lot of bullying here, and witnessed a lot more.
What is it with these candidates? Why can’t anyone mention this subject? If I were a kid today, I would want someone to care about this subject. I wanted it then, and no one cared, no one helped, no one. Not once.
Are they too high above the ground-level of students and teachers to be bothered with this?
