A motorist was leaving a shopping center at Walnut Avenue and San Fernando Boulevard when she reportedly struck the pedestrian who was crossing the driveway just before 9 a.m., said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.
The pedestrian, who appeared to be walking to a nearby grocery store, was transported to a trauma center for treatment, Ryburn said.
