To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, the Walt Disney Archives restored Walt Disney’s original office suite, which was shown to members of the media on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. The space is located in the original Animation building and was occupied by Walt Disney from 1940 to 1966, when he passed away at the age of 65 from lung cancer. The permanent exhibit will be opened to Disney employees, cast members and studio visitors and it will be added to tours of the studio lot that gold members of the official fan club, D23, can take.
