Class will teach business owners how to get licensed to serve alcohol
Business owners wishing to serve alcohol can learn the proper steps toward obtaining a license during a seminar Aug. 26 at the Laguna Beach City Council chambers.
The Laguna Beach Police Department and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control are partnering on the training course, which will deal with serving alcoholic beverages safely and responsibly and preventing illicit drug activity at a business.
Participants who fulfill all requirements will receive a certificate and become eligible for reduced insurance premiums.
The free class will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave. Students must register online at tracelead.abc.ca.gov.
